Aid in food handling activities by ensuring all dishes are properly stored and maintained according to food safety management protocols. Assist with general cleaning duties throughout the kitchen and dining areas to uphold sanitation standards. Operate various kitchen equipment safely while following all safety guidelines related to knife skills, heavy lifting, and equipment use. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of sanitation practices. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving supplies or equipment. Familiarity with operating commercial dishwashers and other kitchen equipment efficiently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness. Basic knife skills for assisting in food prep when necessary.
