Responsibilities Thoroughly wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using proper dishwashing techniques and sanitizing procedures Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients under supervision Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly Support bussing duties by clearing tables, removing trash, and ensuring dining areas are tidy and welcoming Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, sinks, and food prep tools Follow strict food safety management protocols to ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies or bulk ingredients while adhering to manual handling safety standards Skills Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
