POSITION OVERIVIEW

Dishwashing and Sanitization:

Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment. Ensure that all items are thoroughly sanitized according to health and safety standards. Inspect dishes for cleanliness and proper sanitation before storing them

Kitchen Maintenance:

Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and equipment surfaces. Empty trash bins regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste in accordance with sanitation guidelines.

Inventory Management:

Monitor dishwashing supplies such as detergents and sanitizers and inform the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished. Assist in receiving and storing incoming supplies and equipment.

Collaboration:

Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient flow of dishes during meal services. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines. Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.\

Flexibility :

Be willing to assist in other areas of kitchen operations as needed, such as food preparation or cleaning.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Must have the ability to lift over 50 pounds and stand over 8 hours. Assist with catering cleaning when required. Maintain positive attitude in front of customers. Clean all equipment and utensils as required. Maintain full par stocks of all cleaning supplies. Clean stations daily. As well as internal cleaning of dish machines and floors. Help with prep of other stations when necessary. Additional duties as necessary.
