Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for a Part Time Steward/Dishwasher at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts 01608. This is a part time, event related position.

POSITION SUMMA RY

: This position maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly conditions. Regular attendance in conformance with the policies established by Legends Global is essential to the successful performance of this position.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains sanitary and safe work environment Always maintains clean dry floors and walls, including sweeping and mopping Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks on conveyor to dishwashing machine Washes pots, pans, trays, worktables, walls, ranges, refrigerators, deli slicers and buffalo chopper Segregates and removes trash, garbage and cardboard and places it in designated containers Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas and assists with receiving orders Sets up, maintains and works the dishwashing stations at events Helps keep all china, glass and silver in place and in order All other duties as assigned

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE

: High School Diploma or GED required One year of related work experience

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

: Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules and operating instructions Ability to add and subtract Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays, as needed Must be able to read, write and speak in English Must have professional attitude and appearance Must be at least 18 years old

$16.40
