Responsibilities Efficiently wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools following food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the culinary team in a variety of food handling activities. Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning machinery safely and effectively. Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Clean office spaces, bathrooms & other miscellaneous cleaning tasks as assigned. Skills Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices within a restaurant or food service setting. Experience with dishwashing techniques, cleaning procedures, and operating kitchen equipment. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper technique. Familiarity with food preparation processes and basic food handling protocols. Excellent attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards across all areas. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively. Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
