Duties Operate dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients in accordance with safety standards Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly Support food handling activities by organizing ingredients and supplies for efficient kitchen workflow Buss tables and clear dining areas promptly to ensure a clean environment for guests Follow proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy pots, boxes, or equipment to prevent injuries Assist with maintaining kitchen health and safety standards by adhering to sanitation protocols and reporting hazards promptly Experience Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is advantageous Experience with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or food prep tools is a plus Knowledge of basic knife skills and food handling techniques will support your success in this role Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Prior banquet or catering experience is beneficial but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key Join us in creating an exceptional dining environment!
