Job Overview We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Food Prep to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness and availability for food prep and service. Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and assembling ingredients following proper knife skills and slicing techniques. Support meal preparation by organizing ingredients and ensuring all food items meet recipe adherence standards. Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen by following sanitation protocols, including proper cleaning of surfaces, floors, and storage areas. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, slicers, mixers, and other culinary tools. Help with food handling procedures to ensure safety standards are met during all stages of food production. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding food orders, dietary restrictions, and special requests. Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food industry safety standards and food safety management practices. Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning procedures specific to kitchen environments to uphold hygiene standards. Strong knife skills and slicing techniques for efficient food prep. Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and correctly. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and team members. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new culinary skills and safety protocols.
