(Monday-Saturday 8-1) Responsibilities Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, portioning, and organizing ingredients to support chefs and kitchen staff Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of waste properly Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers, ovens, mixers, and other small appliances Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy pots or boxes of supplies while adhering to proper lifting techniques for safety Follow all sanitation standards related to food handling and kitchen health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
