Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper dishwashing techniques and equipment Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and dining areas in accordance with sanitation standards Assist with bussing tables by clearing plates, silverware, and glassware promptly and politely Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy trays or boxes of supplies safely and responsibly Operate kitchen equipment like dishwashers and cleaning tools correctly to optimize workflow Support food handling processes by ensuring proper storage and disposal of waste materials Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with kitchen health and safety standards, sanitation practices, and food safety management is a plus Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing Basic knife skills or experience with food preparation can be beneficial but are not mandatory A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety within a fast-paced setting Join us to be part of a team that values hard work, cleanliness, and excellent service!
