Responsibilities Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools following food safety sanitizing procedures Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely and effectively Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including ingredient handling and prep work under supervision Support bussing duties by clearing tables, removing trash, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Follow all sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and kitchen safety standards Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and boxes safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques Maintain organization of dishware storage areas and ensure all items are stored correctly for easy access Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and stand for extended periods during shifts Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and cleaning tools is advantageous Strong understanding of kitchen health and safety standards, including proper handling of food and cleaning chemicals Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward cleanliness and hygiene Previous banquet or catering experience is a bonus but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Join us in creating a vibrant, clean, and welcoming environment where every team member's contribution makes a difference!
