Dishwasher / Kitchen Utility Cook Madeline's Dining & Events - Girard, PA Approximately 30-35 hours per week

$12/hour Evenings & Weekends Required Madeline's Dining & Events is looking for a dependable, hard-working Dishwasher / Kitchen Utility Cook to join our back-of-house team. This is more than just a dishwasher position. We are looking for someone who can keep our dish area running efficiently, help close the kitchen at night, and jump in to assist the cooking team when needed. Primary Responsibilities Wash and properly sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans and kitchen equipment Keep the dish area clean, organized and stocked throughout the shift Return clean dishes and equipment to their proper locations Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, work areas and BOH spaces Assist with end-of-night kitchen cleaning and closing procedures Complete assigned closing duties before leaving Help with basic food preparation as needed Make pizzas, subs and other menu items when needed Jump onto the line to assist the kitchen team during busy periods Follow Madeline's recipes, portioning and food-quality standards Follow all food-safety and sanitation procedures Communicate with cooks and managers to keep the kitchen running smoothly What We're Looking For We need someone who is: Dependable and shows up for scheduled shifts!! Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen Willing to work evenings and weekends Able to stay until closing duties are completed Willing to learn multiple kitchen stations Able to work independently without constant supervision A team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed Able to lift, carry and move typical restaurant supplies and equipment Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods Restaurant experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, wants to learn and is dependable. Schedule Approximately 30-35 hours per week , primarily evenings and weekends. This position will regularly include closing shifts . Pay Starting at $12/hour , based on experience and ability.
