Duties Assist with food preparation including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, poaching stations, braising pans, and food processors safely and efficiently Cook a variety of dishes with precision, adhering strictly to recipe guidelines and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring compliance with food safety procedures Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients needed for daily specials or catering events Follow food handling protocols to ensure safety and quality in all food production activities Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs Qualifications Previous experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, restaurant cook, or catering assistant is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations is essential Demonstrated skills in food preparation techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and meal assembly Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment Experience working in high-volume production environments or fine dining settings is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaborative kitchen operations Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to culinary excellence!
