Position Summary:

Your responsibilities are maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, ensuring the smooth operation of our food service, all aimed at fostering connections and ensuring our team thrives together in a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver service with care and attention, always prioritizing quality and the well-being of the Members. Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, ensuring proper cleaning and sanitization of dishes, glassware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment. Hand-wash pots, pans, and other large cooking equipment that cannot be processed through the dishwashing machine. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including emptying trash and recycling, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning work surfaces. Ensure adequate supply of clean dishes, glassware, and utensils for service. Properly store cleaned items in designated areas. Assist with basic kitchen tasks, such as prepping vegetables, as needed. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and healthy work environment. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor. Any other duties, as assigned.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. May be required to work variable shifts, weekends and holidays.

Working Conditions:

You will be working in a hot and humid environment. You may experience variable noise levels. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely.

Physical Requirements:

Standing, stooping, bending and twisting for most of the workday. Remain in stationary positions for extended periods of time throughout the work shift. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
