We are seeking a reliable Dishwasher to ensure our meal service dishes are clean and ready to serve. You will clean and dry all dishes, glasses, and silverware and check that they are stocked properly throughout your shift. While on duty, you must ensure that the dish area is kept clean and that equipment is stored properly. You will also be responsible for sweeping and mopping floors in the kitchen area, removing trash, cleaning bathrooms (every 2 hours) and gathering dirty dishes from tray areas.

Dishwasher/Cleaner Duties and Responsibilities:

o Make sure 3 compartment sink is adequately filled o Wash all dishes, silverware and other food items are properly cleaned, rinsed and sanitized and dry o Organize and manage the placement of all kitchen items and dishes o Clean iced tea and coffee machines daily o Perform basic janitorial skills to clean up spills, etc. immediately o Clean Bathrooms on schedule o Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to management o Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and organized Dishwasher Requirements and Qualifications o High school diploma or GED certificate preferred o Some experience in a professional kitchen is a plus o Able to safely operate industrial machinery and carry loads up to 20 lbs o Able to work in a hot, humid environment and stand for 8-hour shifts o Flexible schedule
