Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and maintain all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures Assist in preparing simple appetizers and garnishes under the guidance of the kitchen chef Support food preparation tasks such as ingredient setup, portioning, and basic assembly of dishes Ensure cleanliness of workstations by sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage areas regularly Busing tables and clearing dishes promptly to maintain a clean dining environment Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to prevent accidents and ensure sanitation compliance Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, sinks, and basic food prep tools Requirements Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with food handling and sanitation standards is a plus Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of pots, pans, and dish racks Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper sanitizing procedures Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic knife skills for appetizer preparation are desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed Experience with banquet or catering service is advantageous but not required A positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork and hospitality standards Join us in creating an inviting atmosphere where great food meets exceptional service!
