Responsibilities Thoroughly wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using proper dishwashing techniques and sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, sinks, and food prep tools. Follow food safety management protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients and supplies. Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies or equipment safely according to health and safety standards. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety procedures is highly desirable. Ability to handle manual tasks including lifting heavy items safely and efficiently.
