Responsibilities Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including handling ingredients and supporting kitchen staff. Clear and bus tables promptly to maintain a clean dining area and support overall restaurant flow. Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers, sinks, and other cleaning tools. Follow all sanitation and hygiene standards to ensure compliance with health regulations and promote a safe working environment. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of pots, pans, and supplies while maintaining proper ergonomic practices. Support food handling procedures during busy service times, ensuring proper storage and cleanliness of all items. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Familiarity with food safety management and sanitation practices is advantageous. Basic knife skills or experience with food preparation can be beneficial for supporting kitchen operations.
