Job Description ECU Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness is seeking several Recreation Service Attendants. Become a part of our dedicated team at Campus Recreation and Wellness ( CRW) as a Recreation Service Attendant! This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in supporting campus recreation facilities. You will play a crucial role in promoting the well-being of the campus community. CRW is committed to creating an environment of belonging and well-being and supports the Division of Student Affairs' commitment to purposeful well-being.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate entrance and monitor activities at the Main Student Rec Center and CRW at Health Sciences Campus
Provide facility tours and check out equipment
Assist with membership sales and locker rentals
Perform general cleaning tasks as assigned
Enforce all facility rules and regulations
Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed
Support the planning and execution of special events and programming GPA Requirement Minimum of 2.0
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.) Majors that may be a good fit but not limited to: Recreation and Park Management
Hospitality Management
Business Administration Preferred Qualifications:
Must currently be an enrolled student at ECU Must be able to lift and manage a minimum of 60 lbs. Heavy lifting is required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible work availability, including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and sanctioned ECU breaks
Must be available to work a minimum of 8 to 12 hours a week
Obtain valid CPR and First Aid certification and blood-borne pathogens training within 60 days of hire. License/certification required Special Instructions to Applicant Please upload resume online and a copy of your class schedule.
