The Recreation Attendant is responsible for creating memorable guest experiences by managing beach, pool, fitness, and activity areas.

The Recreation Attendant ensures clean, safe, and welcoming outdoor and activity spaces by setting up equipment, monitoring outdoor areas, providing towels, and promoting resort activities.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for greeting and engaging with resort guests in and around the pool, beach, and all outside areas Maintains organization and cleanliness of all recreation equipment and supplies as well as pool as beach furniture Supplies guests with water bottles Assists guests with their beach belongings Clears sand from beach overpasses and sweeps deck and pool areas Clears trash from recreation and pool areas Assists with delivery of items per guest requests (towels, toothpaste, amenities, etc.) Assists with the washing, drying, folding and replenishing of beach towels
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Ability to remain standing for up to 10 hours Ability to move up and down stairs Ability to move quickly based on guest needs Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions Ability to communicate and exchange information effectively Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly Ability to complete a satisfactory background check Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requires

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work will primarily take place outside in a hotel resort environment
