We are looking for Attendants for our Warming Station. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. What is needed for this job as our
Warming Station Attendant:
21+ years of age Associate or Bachelor degree preferred or college credits from an accredited college or university in human services or social work, preferred Passionate about working with adults in a diverse environment Ability to pass all state required clearances & background check The responsibilities we will trust you with as our
Warming Station Attendant:
Ensure safety, security, and supervision of guests and facilities during operational hours, including overnight monitoring and building walkthroughs Support daily operations by assisting with guest intake/outtake, administering breaks, and enforcing station rules and policies Assists in completion of required guest intake paperwork Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, including laundry, supply restocking, and custodial duties Provide positive guest interaction and support, while remaining available and adaptable to perform additional duties as needed What you can expect: Support from an amazing team which includes training you on expectations Opportunities to learn & grow at the YMCA Being a part of a non-profit organization that works to make the community stronger Great members to work with every day!
