Part-Time, Hourly (Nights & Weekends Required) Role Overview The Entertainment Manager is a part-time, hourly role responsible for the programming, operations, and execution of live entertainment at the Flamingo Resort, with primary oversight of the Vintage Space music venue. This position manages talent relations and on-site event operations to ensure each event is executed smoothly, profitably, and in alignment with the Flamingo brand and guest experience standards. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in live music or nightlife who thrives in an operational, on-the-ground environment. Key Responsibilities Programming & Talent Management
  • Book, advance, and manage live music, DJs, and performance-based events for Vintage Space
  • Coordinate artist contracts, hospitality riders, and settlements with leadership approval
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for artists, agents, and promoters
  • Maintain positive long-term relationships with talent and booking partners Event Operations & Execution
  • Oversee day-of-show execution including load-in, soundcheck, performance, and load-out
  • Manage event timelines, production needs, and run-of-show details
  • Coordinate with AV, security, F&B, and hotel operations teams
  • Be present on-site during assigned events to manage operations and troubleshoot issues Financial Oversight (Event-Level)
  • Support budget adherence for each event, including artist fees and production costs
  • Track attendance, bar performance, and operational issues post-event
  • Submit event recaps and settlement documentation in a timely manner Brand, Guest Experience & Collaboration
  • Ensure all events align with Flamingo's brand, culture, and guest experience standards
  • Partner with marketing on event promotion, artist announcements, and on-site execution
  • Support themed nights, resort-wide activations, and special events as needed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Success in this role will be measured by:
Event Execution Quality:
○ 95%+ of events executed without major operational issues or guest complaints
    Talent & Partner Satisfaction:
    ○ Positive feedback from artists, agents, and promoters ○ Repeat bookings and long-term talent relationships
      Attendance & Engagement:
      ○ Consistent or increasing attendance per event ○ Strong guest engagement and repeat visitation for programmed events
        Financial Performance:
        ○ Events delivered within approved budgets ○ Bar revenue and ticket sales meeting or exceeding targets
          Operational Efficiency:
          ○ Timely submission of event settlements and recap reports ○ Clear communication with internal teams before and after each event Qualifications
          • 3+ years of experience in live entertainment, nightlife, or venue operations
          • Strong understanding of talent booking and day-of-show event management
          • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
          • Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays
          • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience
          • Experience working in a music venue, hotel, or hospitality-driven entertainment space
          • Familiarity with ticketing platforms, production workflows, and AV coordination
          • Existing relationships within the local or regional music scene

          $27.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 35.0 per week
