Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Wellness Assistant to support our health and fitness programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for promoting healthy lifestyles with a comprehensive and fitness industry standards. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in health promotion and client service within a dynamic fitness setting. Responsibilities Support clients during exercise sessions, ensuring proper technique and adherence to safety protocols. Provide motivational coaching to encourage clients to stay committed and engaged in their fitness journey. Promote health education by sharing nutrition advice and wellness tips aligned with clients' objectives. Maintain a clean, organized workout environment while adhering to health club standards and liability insurance requirements. Qualifications Previous experience in sports coaching or fitness industry roles is highly desirable. Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and manual handling required; additional certifications in personal training or sports coaching are advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with diverse clients. Experience teaching physical education or conducting fitness classes is preferred. Familiarity with gym equipment, health club operations, and fitness sales practices is beneficial.
