You can run the job and you can still run the crew. Apex Pavers & Pools is hiring a working manager for our commercial pool division. Hotels, HOAs, clubs, multifamily. You'll run the projects•and on the days it matters, you'll be in the hole with the crew.

We built our commercial pool division to bring the same craftsmanship we're known for on high-end residential into the commercial market•and it's growing.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a hands-on leadership seat, not a clipboard. If you want a desk, this isn't it. If you've been the guy who actually knows how the equipment room is supposed to be piped and you're tired of explaining it to someone who's never held a trowel, keep reading. You'll report to ownership. Short chain of command, fast decisions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Run commercial pool projects start to finish: layout, excavation, steel, plumbing, shell, tile, deck, equipment, startup Read and build from plans and specs•and catch the problems in them before they cost us Manage crews and subs day to day; set the schedule, hold the standard Work with the health department and building officials on public pool permitting, inspections, and DOH compliance Order and stage material; keep jobs supplied and moving Own hydraulics, filtration, chemical automation, heaters, and equipment room layout Enforce safety and OSHA compliance on every site Get on the tools when the job needs it•this is a working position Train and develop the crew under you

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Real commercial pool construction experience•public and commercial pools specifically, not just residential Skilled labor background: you came up through the trade Working knowledge of Florida public pool requirements and the DOH permitting and inspection process Strong on pool hydraulics, plumbing, and equipment room build-out Gunite or shotcrete experience strongly preferred Proven at running crews and subcontractors and actually holding a schedule OSHA 10 or 30, or willing to obtain Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record Bilingual English/Spanish a strong plus CPO certification a plus Comfortable with a phone or tablet for daily reporting and photos

COMPENSATION
