In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and foster a positive environment that motivates members and staff alike. Your leadership will drive the success of the studio by managing team performance, maintaining operational excellence, and promoting a vibrant fitness community. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual passionate about health, wellness, and team management to make a meaningful impact. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily studio operations, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to safety standards. Recruit, interview, and onboard new staff members while providing ongoing training and development to enhance team performance. Manage member relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Oversee inventory management of fitness equipment, supplies, and retail products; coordinate purchasing and stock control activities. Implement sales strategies to promote memberships, personal training sessions, and retail sales; monitor sales performance and set achievable targets. Handle payroll processing, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and bookkeeping tasks accurately and efficiently. Maintain operational procedures including scheduling shifts, managing budgets, pricing services/products, and supervising cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. Experience Proven management experience in a fitness or retail environment with strong leadership skills in supervising teams. Demonstrated ability in customer service excellence within a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with inventory control systems, POS systems, and basic bookkeeping or payroll processes. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse clientele. Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training staff, and developing team members for success. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in retail sales management or grocery store environments is advantageous but not required; managerial experience in sales teams is highly valued.
