Job Description
Under the direction of the CEO, the Fitness and Membership Director manages all aspects of the Fitness Department's activities for the Idaho Falls Family YMCA including management and maintenance of the fitness center, health and wellbeing programs and events, recruitment and retention of members, plus hiring and training front desk staff and fitness instructors. Supports the work of the YMCA, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire date.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred. Previous supervisory experience in customer service preferred. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
