The resort features Lola Rose, a bold Eastern Mediterranean dining experience inspired by the spice markets of Istanbul and the seasonal bounty of California, alongside Bar Issi, an elevated coastal Italian concept that blends relaxed luxury with coastal culinary sophistication. The Outdoor Experience Supervisor supports the Director of Outdoor Experience in the daily operation of all outdoor resort venues, including pool decks, cabanas, daybeds, pool service, and Upper Stories. This role provides hands-on leadership, supervises team members, ensures service standards are met, and helps create a vibrant, luxury guest experience. The Supervisor serves as a visible presence throughout outdoor spaces, assisting with guest needs, team development, and operational execution. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Supervise the daily operation of pool decks, cabanas, daybeds, and outdoor guest experiences. Support the execution of Upper Stories operations, ensuring the space is properly set up, maintained, and guest-ready. Lead by example while providing exceptional guest service and resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally. Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and development of Outdoor Experience colleagues. Conduct daily inspections of outdoor areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, organization, and brand standards. Monitor cabana and daybed reservations and ensure seamless service delivery throughout the guest experience. Partner with Food & Beverage, Events, and Hotel Operations teams to execute resort programming and special events. Assist in managing labor, supplies, and operational expenses within established budgets. Support communication between departments to maintain efficient operations and elevated guest satisfaction. Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures. Complete administrative tasks, shift reports, and operational follow-up as needed. This is the hourly rate for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Luxury, lifestyle, resort, or high-volume hospitality experience preferred. Strong guest service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and POS systems.
