Job Description

Flood Brook School is seeking a creative, energetic, and organized Enrichment Leader to lead our after school drama program for the 2026/2027 school year! In this assignment, the Enrichment Leader will foster a supportive and inclusive environment where students in grades 5-8 can develop acting skills, build confidence, and collaborate with a team. This assignment involves conducting regular weekly practices and culminates in directing a final drama performance.

Under the direction of the Principal, the Enrichment Leader assists in supervising students, supporting instructors, and facilitating regularly scheduled extracurricular activities after school hours and/or during summer enrichment programs. Organized activities may include (but are not limited to) sports, after school clubs, school productions, and/or Extended School Year (ESY) programming.

This position plays a key role in fostering a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where students can explore learning beyond the classroom through recreational, creative and academic activities, utilizing basic student management skills and motivation techniques when supporting assigned student(s) in a variety of settings. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, dependable, and enjoy working with students in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

When school is in session, the Enrichment Leader begins their shift at the end of the school day following dismissal procedures as determined by the assigned school. During the summer months, hours are based on the applicable ESY or summer enrichment program schedule. While days of the week may vary, an average shift is typically 2-4 hours.
