EVENTS & VIP MANAGER
West Hollywood, California $50,000.00-75,000.00 | Bonus opportunities available KŌZO is seeking an experienced, polished, and highly organized Events & VIP Manager to help create exceptional experiences for our private events, large parties, and VIP guests.
This is a hands-on hospitality position for someone who thrives in an elevated, high-energy restaurant environment and understands that exceptional events require attention to every detail. The Events & VIP Manager will work closely with the General Manager and Executive Chef to coordinate events from the initial planning stages through execution, ensuring each experience reflects KŌZO's standards of hospitality, service, and presentation. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee private events, large parties, special celebrations, and VIP reservations. Serve as a primary point of contact for event and VIP details before and during the guest experience. Work closely with the General Manager and Executive Chef to coordinate event menus, service expectations, timing, special requests, and overall execution. Assist with menu planning and presentation for private events and special experiences in collaboration with the Executive Chef and management team. Coordinate entertainment and other event elements as needed, including performers, DJs, décor, special setups, and outside vendors when approved by management. Oversee event timelines and communicate event details to the appropriate restaurant teams. Ensure VIP guest preferences, special requests, and important event details are communicated accurately and discreetly. Oversee and provide direction to the host team as it relates to private parties, VIP guests, special events, seating, arrivals, and guest flow. Coordinate with front-of-house leadership to ensure proper staffing and service preparation for events and large parties. Conduct pre-event reviews with management and participating team members so expectations, timing, menus, and responsibilities are clear. Maintain professional and timely communication with guests throughout the event planning process. Be present and visible during events to ensure details are executed correctly and to quickly resolve guest needs. Help create memorable, personalized experiences while maintaining KŌZO's service and hospitality standards. Maintain organized event records, guest information, menus, special requests, and event details. Assist management with identifying opportunities to grow KŌZO's private dining, special event, and VIP business. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is hospitality-driven, professional, detail-oriented, and confident working with high-profile and VIP guests. Previous restaurant, nightlife, luxury hospitality, private dining, or event management experience. Experience coordinating large parties, private events, or VIP guest experiences. Strong understanding of elevated restaurant service and guest relations. Excellent organization and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and guest requests simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs. Professional appearance and polished communication style. Ability to communicate effectively with culinary, management, host, and service teams. Confidence interacting with VIP guests while maintaining professionalism and discretion. Ability to remain calm, organized, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as business needs require. Compensation 50,000.00 bonus opportunities available The Events & VIP Manager will also be eligible for a bonus structure based on established performance and event-related goals, subject to the terms of KŌZO's applicable bonus program.
