Job Description
As the Event Manager at The Hounds in Stonington CT, you will be responsible for booking, organizing and coordinating events for our clients. This is a fun role allowing flexible, remote hours for 60% of the time. We are expecting you to be very well-organized and competent in communication skills, good time management and attention to detail are a must. Event Manager duties and responsibilities Respond to all venue inquiries in a timely manner Meet with prospective brides and clients onsite to understand requirements and details of each event Create event proposals and contracts Maintain electronic marketing pieces such as brochures, preferred vendor lists Create and maintain event detail forms Assist with social media postings Assist with venue preparation for events Coordinate event vendors Meet weekly with owners Event Manager requirements and qualifications Proficient in google workspace/g suite Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Detail oriented Ability to problem solve on the fly Experience in hospitality management, restaurants or as an event coordinator preferred
