This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organization, data, details, as well as the creative side of coordinating Development events, mailings, invitations, and being the person behind the scenes who helps everything come together. Working closely with the Director of Development, the Development Coordinator helps keep the day-to-day work of Development organized, accurate, and moving forward. From maintaining donor records and processing gifts to supporting fundraising campaigns and coordinating Development events, this person plays an important role in helping High Meadows build and strengthen relationships across our community. What You'll Do As resident Raiser's Edge expert, you will manage and maintain our Raiser's Edge donor database, keeping constituent, donor, gift, pledge, and prospect information accurate and up to date Process gifts, pledges, and recurring contributions and prepare acknowledgments, tax receipts, pledge reminders, and donor correspondence Create reports, mailing lists, donor segments, data merges, and giving analyses to support fundraising and stewardship efforts Partner with the Finance team to reconcile gifts and maintain accurate Development and financial records Keep Development projects, deadlines, calendars, files, procedures, and tracking systems organized Coordinate Development mailings and provide administrative and project support for fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship, alumni engagement, and other Development initiatives Assist the Director of Development with donor research, meeting preparation, reports, presentations, correspondence, and special projects Plan and coordinate Development Department events and donor gatherings in collaboration with the Director of Development and Events Manager, including invitations, guest and donor lists, RSVPs, communications, fundraising or auction records, event details, and post-event follow-up Work collaboratively with the Events Manager on Development events, with both positions contributing to the planning, coordination, and successful execution of these events Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to help ensure Development information and messaging are accurate, timely, and consistent Pitch in on other Development projects and priorities as they arise You Might Be a Great Fit If You...

Are willing to jump in, solve problems, and help where needed What You'll Bring Experience with Raiser's Edge is required for this position.
Experience with Veracross is helpful, as is strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. You should also be comfortable working with donor data, reports, spreadsheets, gift records, and financial information. We'd also like to see approximately three to five years of relevant experience in areas such as Development/fundraising, database administration, nonprofit or school operations, or administrative support. Prior experience supporting fundraising operations, donor relations, gift processing, Development programs, or Development-related events strongly preferred. A bachelor's degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. What Success Looks Like Our Development Coordinator is someone people can count on. You'll know the donor data, understand the systems, anticipate deadlines, catch details, and help keep Development initiatives moving throughout the year. You'll also be comfortable moving between very different kinds of work—perhaps preparing a donor report one day, processing gifts the next, and then working alongside the Director of Development and Events Manager to coordinate an upcoming donor gathering.
