In this role, you will support community fundraising events that raise awareness and generate vital support for nonprofit organizations and charitable causes. We focus on hands-on fundraising that brings people and causes together in a real, face-to-face way. As a Nonprofit Event Representative, you will represent nonprofit partners at events, connect with community members, and help drive fundraising efforts through outreach and on-the-ground engagement. Responsibilities of a Nonprofit Event Representative Represent nonprofit and charitable organizations at fundraising events, community outreach programs, and promotional campaigns Assist with the setup, coordination, and execution of live fundraising events Engage with members of the public to educate them about charitable missions and fundraising initiatives Build positive relationships with potential donors and supporters through face-to-face interactions Accurately collect donor information and process contributions in accordance with company guidelines Collaborate with team members and leadership to achieve campaign goals and fundraising targets Maintain a professional, energetic, and positive presence at all events Help monitor event performance and provide feedback to improve future fundraising efforts Ensure all fundraising activities are conducted ethically and in compliance with organizational standards Support ongoing awareness efforts that strengthen community engagement and donor participation Qualifications for a Nonprofit Event Representative Previous experience in fundraising, customer service, sales, marketing, hospitality, retail, or event coordination is a plus but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable engaging with diverse audiences in face-to-face settings Positive attitude with a passion for community involvement and charitable causes Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Reliable transportation and ability to travel to local event locations as needed Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends Ability to stand, walk, and interact with attendees for extended periods during events
