Fulltime Schedule Variation:
12 months of year - 40 regular scheduled hours per week 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and varies based on event needs.

Yes SUMMARY Schedules College facilities for various activities and events (i.e. conferences, camps, weddings, etc.); maintains calendar of events, and coordinates college conference program. Promotes events and conference activities to maximize revenues. Coordinates rental leases for college rental properties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Conference and Events:
Schedules College facilities for events according to program needs and College policy to ensure availability and adequate facilities. Coordinates the logistical aspects of conferences, seminars, lodging and set-up of events. Utilize community opportunities to attract new events. Develop revenue goals. Develop and promote a campus conference and event program to maximize campus use and generate revenue. Work with Public Relations Department to promote event opportunities. Develops and maintains the College's calendar of events; disseminates information to campus units regarding schedules and events. Communicates with event coordinators to ensure all preparations are in place. Responds to all requests to confirm event has been placed on calendar and confirm rejections. Plan out an annual calendar that ensures annual events have priority. Graduation, Annual Conference, etc. Attend, monitor events and ensure everything is in place and staffed as necessary. Inspect facilities prior to events. Identify event duties for staff as needed. Utilize student workers to assist with set-up/teardown where possible. Coordinate a monthly meeting with key personnel on campus to meet and discuss upcoming month events and discuss current month events and issues. Maintain and updates policies and procedures and communicate those to the campus community. Work with Facilities, Food Service and Security to scheduled necessary support staff. Train students, faculty and staff on how to properly use the calendar to avoid confusion. Survey event coordinators for satisfactory facilities and service. Shows rental properties and manages rental leases for tenants. Coordinates work orders and manages the Buildium program as a tool for properties. Other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree preferred, and 3 years of related experience preferred. Must be a people-oriented individual, have good communication skills, and the ability to work with a diverse group of people and campus leaders. Ability to promote college conference and event programs. Well organized and self-motivated. Computer skills should include word processing, spreadsheets, email, and database applications. Must be able to fulfill job requirements in a high-energy, high-traffic area.
