Part-Time, Seasonal, Evenings & Weekends Required Position Summary The Event Staff team plays a critical role in creating an exceptional guest experience at our outdoor wedding venue. Staff members are responsible for assisting with event operations before, during, and after weddings and special events. Duties include directing guest parking, maintaining clean and organized event spaces, supporting bar operations, washing and organizing glassware, and assisting with event breakdown, including putting away tables, chairs, and other venue equipment. Successful candidates are dependable, hardworking, customer-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Guest Parking & Arrival Assistance Direct guests to designated parking areas in a safe and organized manner. Monitor parking flow to maximize available parking space. Assist guests with directions and answer basic venue-related questions. Communicate with venue management regarding parking concerns or traffic issues. Maintain a welcoming and professional appearance when interacting with guests. Bar Support Assist bartenders by restocking beer, wine, liquor, mixers, ice, cups, napkins, and other supplies. Collect used glassware and barware from bars, cocktail areas, and reception spaces. Keep bar areas clean, organized, and adequately supplied throughout the event. Transport supplies safely and efficiently as needed. Glassware & Barware Cleaning Gather dirty glassware from reception and cocktail areas. Wash, sanitize, dry, and properly store glassware according to venue standards. Inspect glassware for cleanliness and damage. Maintain cleanliness and organization in dishwashing and storage areas. Event Cleanup & Breakdown Clear tables of glassware, barware, and miscellaneous items during and after events. Break down event spaces after receptions conclude. Stack, transport, and properly store tables and chairs. Assist with removing decorations, linens, and trash. Sweep and clean event areas to prepare the venue for future events. Ensure all venue equipment is returned to designated storage locations. General Venue Maintenance Maintain cleanliness of indoor and outdoor event spaces throughout shifts. Empty trash and recycling containers as needed. Assist with setup and cleanup projects as directed by the event coordinator. Support fellow team members in various event-related tasks. Qualifications Previous event, hospitality, restaurant, catering, or customer service experience is a plus but not required. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during wedding season. Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and reach frequently. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, wind, and light rain. Ability to safely move tables, chairs, glassware racks, and event supplies. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
