Responsibilities Set up and break down catering stations and food truck areas efficiently, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready for service. Serve food and beverages to guests with professionalism, attentiveness, and a friendly demeanor. Manage food handling duties in accordance with safety standards, including proper storage, sanitation, and portioning. Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling dishes or garnishing plates to meet quality standards. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and payment transactions accurately. Provide excellent guest relations by answering questions about menu items, ingredients, and beverage options, including wine knowledge when applicable. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the event, including bussing tables and disposing of waste responsibly. Support beverage service including drink mixing, wine pouring, and ensuring responsible alcohol service where permitted. Follow all food safety protocols to ensure a safe dining experience for guests. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during high-volume periods at events. Skills Prior experience in the food industry or catering environment is highly desirable. Strong guest service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to customer interactions. Knowledge of food handling procedures and basic food safety standards. Experience with banquet or fine dining service enhances your ability to deliver exceptional hospitality. Ability to perform basic math calculations for orders, payments, and portioning accurately. Familiarity with beverage service techniques including wine knowledge is a plus. Previous experience operating POS systems or cash registers is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism. Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and outdoor settings as needed. Pay:
