Job Description

Dragonfly Productions, a growing party and event entertainment company, is looking for an enthusiastic, organized, self-motivated Office Manager / Event Operations Coordinator to help manage daily office operations and support the continued growth of the business. This is a full-time position based out of our South Amboy waterfront home office. The schedule is Monday through Thursday 10a-5p in office, with Fridays work from home 10a-5p after the initial two-week training period. We are looking for someone reliable, professional, friendly, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with clients, event planners, agents, and performers. The right person should be able to multitask, stay organized, and help keep events running smoothly from the first client inquiry through the day of the event.

Responsibilities include:

Answering phone calls and responding to client and agent inquiries Scheduling performers for events Checking performer availability and travel time Assisting with event details, timelines, and confirmations Composing professional emails to clients, agents, and potential customers Helping generate new business through follow-up and outreach Assisting the owner with daily administrative and operational tasks Organizing event information, performer details, and client requests Providing excellent customer service Occasionally attending events such as weddings, bar mitzvahs, corporate events, and private parties to assist with timing, performer coordination, costumes, and event flow Handling other general office tasks as needed Ideal candidate: Has previous office, administrative, customer service, or event-related experience Is highly organized and detail-oriented Has excellent written and verbal communication skills Is comfortable speaking with clients by phone and email Is reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Can multitask in a fast-moving small business environment Is fluent in English reading and writing Has their own reliable transportation Is comfortable occasionally attending events when needed Has a positive, professional, can-do attitude
