Studio Assistant, ( Creative Legion) | 7 Fairview Ave, Hudson, NY Part-time | 3-5 days/week | $20-$25/hr based on experience (Creative Legion) is a membership-based creative space in Hudson, NY — home to artists, designers, writers, filmmakers, and creatives of all kinds. Our environment is dynamic, detail-driven, and community-centered. Every interaction, every corner of the space, and every event reflects who we are. We're looking for a Studio Assistant who takes pride in their work, shows up fully, and understands that the details are the job.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Studio Assistant is the operational heartbeat of the studio day-to-day. You'll support front-of-house experience, maintain the physical space, and play a hands-on role in event execution and programming. You'll report to our Studio Operations Manager, and work closely with the full team to keep (Creative Legion) running at a high standard. This is an excellent entry point for someone who wants to build a real career in events, creative operations, or hospitality — and who's ready to grow through direct exposure to a fast-moving, culture-forward creative business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Front-of-House & Member Experience Welcome members and guests with warmth and professionalism Manage check-ins for events and day pass holders via different tech devices Monitor and respond to the reception email; file and escalate as needed Maintain a calm, focused, and welcoming environment at all times Daily Operations Open and close the space with care and precision Keep all areas clean, organized, and guest-ready — surfaces, restrooms, shared spaces, dishes Restock supplies and flag inventory needs proactively Walk the floor consistently; reset chairs, glassware, phone booths, and breakout rooms Event Support Assist with setup, breakdown, and transitions for events of 50-100+ guests Help manage guest flow and support vendors, collaborators, and speakers on-site Capture attendee information and help convert guests into ongoing contacts Administrative & Scheduling Awareness Review the daily calendar at the start of every shift Anticipate needs based on upcoming events and bookings Handle light administrative tasks as needed

AVAILABILITY
We're looking for someone available 3-5 days per week , including availability for events that may occur on evenings or weekends. Shifts range from start times as early at 7am and end as late as 11pm. Length of shift ranges from minimum of 4 hours to maximum of 8 hours per shift.
EXPECTATIONS
Adherence to dress code (cream, brown, navy, dark denim — no logos, rips, open toe, or wrinkles) Phone use during shifts is for work tasks only All tasks completed before leaving a shift Respectful, professional conduct at all times Breaks scheduled in accordance with New York State labor law
