Job Description

Student Worker Office StaffNumber of Openings:
4 Purpose/Objective of the
Role:
Provide administrative support to the Office of Multicultural Student AffairsAssist with planning and logistics for multicultural programs and initiativesServe as a liaison between the office and diverse student populationsSupport the creation of an inclusive campus environment through office operationsHelp maintain office operations
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Manage the front desk operations, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and responding to email inquiriesAssist with logistics planning for eventsUpdate and organize digital and physical files related to student programsCreate and distribute promotional materials for upcoming multicultural eventsCoordinate room reservations and equipment setupUpdate content on the office website and social media platformsAssist with budget tracking and processing expense reportsTake inventory and organize office supplies
Qualifications/Skills:
Currently enrolled undergraduate student in good academic standingStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesDemonstrated interest in multicultural affairs, diversity, equity, and inclusionAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilitiesSensitivity to the needs of diverse student populationsAvailability to work 20 hours per week
