This is a critical role within our event operations team and requires someone who can see both the big picture and the details necessary to bring it to life. This person will serve as an extension of the CV throughout the planning and execution of events—translating direction into action, communicating expectations to the team, coordinating moving pieces, maintaining timelines, and ensuring our staff has the information and support needed to execute successfully. While our CV focuses heavily on creative direction, clients, vendors, and the overall event experience, this role will focus on leading the internal team and driving execution behind the scenes and on-site . The right person is a seasoned professional who naturally takes ownership, communicates clearly, anticipates needs, and remains calm when plans change—which they often do in events. They must be able to earn the trust of leadership, staff, vendors, and clients while representing TLB with kindness, integrity, professionalism, and confidence. What You'll DoBe a Strategic Partner to Leadership Work closely with CV to understand the creative vision, priorities, expectations, timelines, budgets, and operational needs for each project. Translate direction from CV into clear, actionable processes for the TLB team. Serve as a trusted sounding board and operational partner, helping identify needs, potential challenges, and solutions before they impact our team or an event. Take ownership of assigned responsibilities without requiring constant direction or follow-up. Help protect the CV's time and focus by managing internal team execution while CV manages clients, creative direction, and key vendor relationships. Assist CV where needed in these areas. Lead & Coordinate the TLB Team Serve as a primary liaison between the CV and TLB staff for event-related execution. Make sure employees understand what is happening, what is expected of them, and when projects need to be completed by. Assign and communicate responsibilities clearly. Follow up on deliverables and hold team members accountable to timelines, budgets, and expectations. Identify when a team member needs additional information, resources, training, or support to complete their responsibilities successfully. Help create clarity and organization when multiple projects and deadlines are happening simultaneously. Provide calm, confident leadership during event installations, production, and strike. Drive Project & Event Execution Maintain awareness of the many interconnected pieces of each event and understand how changes in one area may affect another. Monitor timelines, deadlines, staffing needs, deliverables, logistics, and outstanding items. Anticipate potential problems and proactively address them with the CV. Quickly evaluate unexpected challenges and help determine the best path forward and offer solutions to CV. Communicate changes to CV and the appropriate people so the team can adjust without losing momentum. Maintain a high level of attention to detail while simultaneously keeping sight of the overall event. Represent the TLB Brand Represent TLB professionally with employees, clients, venues, vendors, partners, and anyone encountered through our work. Communicate with kindness and respect—even during stressful situations, tight deadlines, or disagreements. Demonstrate sound judgment and discretion when communicating on behalf of TLB leadership. Be comfortable interacting with clients when needed and trusted to represent TLB appropriately. Help maintain the high standards of quality, service, originality, and attention to detail that define the TLB experience. What Success Looks Like The person in this role creates clarity where there could otherwise be chaos . Our team knows what is expected, deadlines are being met, details are being tracked, problems are identified early, and leadership does not have to personally manage every step of execution. When unexpected challenges arise, this person does not add to the stress. They assess the situation, communicate clearly, develop solutions, and help the team move forward. Most importantly, they become someone our CV can deeply trust—someone who understands the vision, knows the team, protects the standard, and can confidently carry responsibility on the CV's behalf. What We're Looking For Significant experience in event production, event operations, hospitality, project management, or another fast-paced environment with complex moving parts. Demonstrated experience leading and coordinating teams. Strong project-management and organizational skills. Exceptional follow-through and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize competing needs and deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong situational awareness and the ability to anticipate what needs to happen next. Confident decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain composed, respectful, and productive under significant pressure. High level of emotional intelligence and good judgment. Comfortable holding others accountable while maintaining positive working relationships. Ability to receive direction, understand the larger objective, and independently determine the steps required to accomplish it. Willingness to be hands-on and step in wherever needed. Flexibility to work the nontraditional hours required by the event industry, including evenings and weekends when necessary. The Person Who Will Thrive in This Role You are someone who naturally notices what needs to happen next. You do not wait until a problem becomes urgent before addressing it. You ask questions, connect the dots, follow through, and communicate when something changes. You can walk into a fast-moving environment, understand the priorities, organize people and information, and create forward momentum. You are comfortable leading seasoned professionals and executives without needing to dominate the room. You understand that event production rarely goes exactly according to plan. When something changes at the last minute, you stay calm, determine the ripple effects, communicate what people need to know, and help solve the problem. You are equally comfortable working behind the scenes or professionally interacting with a client, venue, or vendor when the situation requires it. Above all, you understand that leadership at TLB is rooted in how we treat people. Our Mission Delight & inspire. Set the stage for defining moments—to connect with the human spirit in ways that are unforgettable. Take the impossible to the edge of reality. Our Values Be Kind. Serve with Integrity. Dream Big.
