Job Description

Are you enthusiastic to be a part of the event industry? Are you highly organized and excel in juggling multiple projects at one time? Are you eager to contribute to an epic team? Twelve Baskets Catering is looking for a Event Manager to join our awesome team! The Event Manager is an integral part of the Hospitality Team at Twelve Baskets Catering, providing superior service to our clients and direction for event staff. This position will handle a variety of tasks as delegated by the Hospitality & Logistics Manager, including being responsible for overseeing the hospitality heroes, and bartenders while out on events and the successful execution of all events.
Core Responsibilities:
Customer Service - Engage with customers by providing superior service and quality products by delivering and serving their food efficiently and on-time. Carry a friendly, energetic, personable demeanor and passion for excellent customer service, with a customer-first mentality. Demonstrates that customers come first by serving them with sense of urgency.
Operational Excellence:
Assist with the set up & tear down of events Buss & clear tables during the event Pass and/or serve appetizers, entrees or desserts to guests Enthusiastically greet guests while performing assigned tasks as directed by the Hospitality & Logistics Manager Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays for events within King, Pierce & Snohomish counties Proactively approach guests that may have an issue and/or complaint & comfortable with resolving issues to satisfy the guests/client Be comfortable in leading a team on an offsite event Being able to delegate tasks and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Reviewing event details and formulating an action strategy to ensure success of each event Following up with thorough and detailed feedback for all events worked Perform additional projects/duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience:
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Catering/Hospitality industry. Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality with or without reasonable accommodation. Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays. Ability to lift 40 pounds. Basic Microsoft Office Suite knowledge Comfortable driving vehicles of various sizes and lengths. Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication. Ability to work quickly, embrace and learn new information, multi-task and incorporate feedback into personal performance. Available to perform many different tasks within operations during each shift. Must be at least 18 years of age Authorized to work in the United States Food Handlers Card Must have a valid driver license Motor vehicle and criminal background record in good standing.
