Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a quick service and fast food restaurant setting. Responsibilities Prepare high-quality sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions regarding menu items. Upsell additional items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours. Perform bussing duties as needed to maintain a clean dining area for customers. Experience Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred, particularly in quick service or fast food restaurants. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus, with knowledge of food handling practices. Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is advantageous but not required; training will be provided. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications are essential. A commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety practices is required.
