00 per hour + tips (based on experience) Job Overview Cơm Tấm Bros is a modern fast-casual Vietnamese restaurant in Hayward specializing in broken rice plates, grilled meats, and phở. We're looking for friendly, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our Front of House team! As a Front of House Team Member, you'll help create a great experience for our customers while keeping daily operations running smoothly. We're a small team, so teamwork, communication, and being willing to help each other are very important to us. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to details, and can stay organized during busy hours. Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide friendly, helpful service. Assist customers with our self-ordering kiosks and Toast POS system. Answer questions about our menu and make recommendations. Prepare, check, and package dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders accurately. Coordinate pickup orders with DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub drivers. Run food to customers and assist with dining room service. Prepare drinks and restock beverages, sauces, utensils, and supplies. Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, front counter, and service stations. Follow food safety and sanitation procedures. Complete opening and closing duties. Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed correctly and on time. Support teammates and help wherever needed during busy shifts. Qualifications Friendly, positive attitude and good customer service skills. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willing to learn and follow restaurant procedures. Comfortable using technology and POS systems. Restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. California Food Handler Card or willingness to obtain one within the required timeframe. Weekend availability preferred. Work Schedule We're hiring part-time team members for the following shifts:
Lunch:
11:00 AM
PM Dinner:
4:00 PM
- Closing Weekday and weekend shifts available. Approximately 15-25 hours per week, depending on scheduling needs. Pay & Benefits $17.50
- 20.00 per hour , depending on experience. Additional tips typically averaging $4
- 6 per hour, depending on business volume and customer tipping.
