Experience:

Proven background as a prep cook is essential.

Safety Knowledge:

Understanding of kitchen health and safety regulations.

Manual Skills:

Proficiency in using kitchen tools and utensils.

Culinary Technique:

Braising, Grilling, Sautéing etc...

Team Player:

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Adaptability:

Ability to remain calm and positive under pressure.

Physical Stamina:

Good physical condition to withstand the demands of the kitchen.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Culinary training is a plus.

Duties:

Preparation:

Efficiently follow prep lists, measure ingredients, and chop vegetables.

Organization:

Label and stock ingredients for easy accessibility.

Cooking Support:

Assist with basic cooking tasks such as reducing sauces and parboiling food.

Dishwashing:

Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.

Storage Management:

Ensure proper storage of food and other items.

Compliance:

Adhere to nutrition and sanitation guidelines.

Flexibility:

Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned.
