What you'll do: Prepare food consistent with Jersey Mike's high quality standards, following our recipes and portioning guidelines Maintain a restaurant that is noticeably cleaner than others, including your station, dining area, and equipment Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-driven environment, especially during rush periods Multitask and manage your time with a sense of urgency without sacrificing quality Interface directly with customers and provide an exceptional, friendly experience from order to pickup Learn and maintain strong product and menu knowledge so you can answer questions and make recommendations Follow food safety and cash handling procedures accurately and consistently Take ownership of your responsibilities and communicate proactively with your team and managers Meet your scheduled shifts reliably and show up ready to work in proper uniform What we're looking for: High school diploma or equivalent - Students 16+ may still apply Reliable transportation 1 year of QSR experience preferred, but not required Strong communication skills, ability to banter with customers and a willingness to learn Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay reliable under pressure
