The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and customer service, ensuring that every sandwich is made to perfection while providing an exceptional dining experience. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a quick service setting. Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and food safety standards. Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. Upsell additional items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including proper food handling practices. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy café environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Requirements Previous experience in food service or a quick service/fast food restaurant is preferred. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math tasks. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation guidelines. Ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated. Experience with POS systems (Aloha or Micros) is advantageous but not required.
