Position Overview Tinee Cave is looking for an energetic, dependable, and positive Crew Member — PlaySpace / Boutique to join our team. This is a hands-on, rotational position where no two shifts may look exactly the same. Our Crew Members help bring the Tinee Cave experience to life by welcoming families, supporting our PlaySpace, assisting boutique customers, helping with events and birthday parties, and jumping in wherever the team needs support. We are looking for people who genuinely enjoy being around children and families, have great customer service skills, and are not afraid to get involved. You should be comfortable moving between responsibilities, staying active, keeping spaces organized, and creating a fun atmosphere while maintaining professionalism and safety. Experience with children is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, enthusiastic, willing to learn, and ready to be part of a team.
WHAT YOU MAY DO
Front Desk & Guest Experience Welcome children, parents, and families with a friendly attitude. Assist with member and guest check-in. Answer basic questions about the PlaySpace, boutique, memberships, events, and services. Help families understand PlaySpace rules and procedures. Assist with wristbands, guest information, and other check-in processes. Maintain a welcoming and organized front-desk area. Provide excellent customer service from the moment guests arrive. PlaySpace Crew Rotate between our infant/toddler area and bigger-kid PlaySpace. Actively monitor children and promote safe, appropriate play. Interact with children through play, conversation, and age-appropriate activities. Help children feel comfortable, included, and engaged. Keep PlaySpace areas clean, organized, and ready for guests. Assist with resetting and sanitizing play areas throughout the day. Follow all PlaySpace safety procedures. Immediately communicate safety concerns or incidents to leadership. Help create an environment where children can play, explore, and have fun. Boutique Crew Our boutique is an important part of the Tinee Cave experience. Crew Members will help keep the boutique welcoming, organized, and ready for customers.
Boutique responsibilities may include:
Welcome customers browsing the boutique. Assist guests in finding products and answering basic questions. Operate the point-of-sale system and process purchases when trained. Restock merchandise and keep inventory areas organized. Fold, arrange, and merchandise clothing, accessories, toys, books, gifts, and other products. Help create attractive displays and keep shelves and racks looking their best. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment. Help receive, organize, tag, or prepare new merchandise when needed. Assist with boutique pop-ups, vendor displays, seasonal merchandise, and special promotions. Help protect merchandise and maintain awareness of the boutique area. Provide warm, family-friendly customer service throughout the shopping experience. We want our boutique to feel like an experience, not simply a place to purchase something. Crew Members should be excited to help families discover something special to take home. Café Support Crew Members may occasionally assist with café operations based on business needs.
Responsibilities may include:
Supporting café team members with basic assigned tasks. Assisting with guest service. Keeping café areas clean and organized. Restocking supplies. Following all applicable food-service, cleanliness, and safety procedures. Helping create a welcoming environment for families. Events & Entertainment Tinee Cave is designed to be a place where families come to play, celebrate, and make memories.
Crew Members may assist with:
Special events Children's activities Seasonal celebrations Character appearances Craft activities Games and interactive programming Member events Community events Pop-up experiences You should be comfortable playing, dancing, singing, laughing, and interacting with children. Depending on the event, Crew Members may also be asked to: Participate in character experiences. Wear costumes or themed attire. Help lead games or activities. Take part in music, movement, or entertainment. Help create excitement and energy for guests. Birthday Parties Crew Members may be scheduled as Party Assistants.
Responsibilities may include:
Helping prepare the party area. Welcoming the birthday child and their guests. Assisting with activities and games. Helping keep children engaged. Supporting the birthday host and family. Monitoring organization and cleanliness. Assisting with food, decorations, supplies, or other party needs as assigned. Helping clean and reset the space after the party.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Crew Members should be comfortable with an active work environment and able to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, reach, kneel, and move throughout the PlaySpace. Lift and carry merchandise, boxes, supplies, and event materials as needed. Help move tables, chairs, decorations, or other items for events when necessary. Work around infants, toddlers, and older children. Maintain an active presence throughout the shift.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in any of the following is a plus: Childcare Education Customer service Retail Hospitality Café or food service Entertainment Events Birthday parties Recreation Sales Experience is not required. We are interested in people who are dependable, teachable, friendly, and willing to work. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Spanish/English bilingual ability is a plus. All selected candidates must successfully pass a background check.
UNIFORM & APPEARANCE
Your first required Tinee Cave uniform will be provided. Crew Members are expected to maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance while on duty and follow all Tinee Cave uniform and appearance guidelines. For certain events and activities, themed clothing or costumes may be required.
TEAM LEAD OPPORTUNITY
We have one Team Lead opportunity available. The Team Lead will help support daily operations and provide guidance to fellow Crew Members. Selection will be based on factors including: Relevant experience Leadership skills Dependability Communication Initiative Professionalism Teamwork Ability to support guests and fellow Crew Members Previous supervisory, childcare, hospitality, retail, event, or team-leadership experience is a plus. Shifts may be scheduled between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Crew Members should be prepared to work: Weekends Birthday parties Special events Seasonal events Holidays, when scheduled This is a flexible, rotational position, and Crew Members should expect to work in different areas of the business during their shift.
