We're a small, friendly team where quality, consistency, and great food matter. We're looking for a dependable, energetic Prep Cook / Sandwich Maker who enjoys cooking, takes pride in their work, and cares about the food they make. Applicants must have a flexible schedule and be available to work weekends, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. What You'll Do Prepare a variety of fresh menu items each morning before we open for service Follow our recipes carefully and consistently, including measurements, cooking methods, and portion sizes Taste and check food for quality, flavor, and consistency Prepare and assemble deli sandwiches, salads, French fries, and other menu items with care and attention to detail Work efficiently and accurately during busy service periods without sacrificing quality Prep food and ingredients throughout the day to keep the kitchen ready for service Wash, chop, slice, and portion ingredients Prepare dressings, sauces, salads, and other house-made items Set up, stock, organize, and maintain the prep and sandwich stations Safely operate a commercial slicer, food processor and other kitchen equipment Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitary Help the team with other kitchen duties as needed Consistency is extremely important to us. What We're Looking For Previous restaurant, deli, sandwich-making, or kitchen experience preferred Someone who genuinely enjoys cooking and wants to make great food Ability to listen, follow directions, and communicate well Friendly, positive, and considerate of coworkers and customers Strong attention to detail Reliable and punctual Clean and organized Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment A true team player who is willing to jump in and help where needed Someone who takes pride in their work and the food they serve English or Spanish speakers are welcome to apply. Our team speaks both English and Spanish. Physical Requirements This is an active, physically demanding kitchen position.

Applicants must be able to:

Stand and work on their feet for extended periods Lift and carry 25 lbs. or more Bend, reach, lift, carry, and move throughout the kitchen Perform repetitive cutting, chopping, slicing, scooping and food-prep tasks Work around the heat, steam, and cold of a commercial kitchen Keep up with the physical demands and pace of a busy restaurant Please apply only if you are comfortable consistently performing the physical requirements of this position.
