Part-Time Food Truck & Kitchen Team MemberChubby Chad's BBQ — Buchanan, Georgia Chubby Chad's BBQ is looking for a dependable, hardworking person to join our small team part-time. This position will involve a lot of work on our food truck , along with food preparation and cleaning at our commissary kitchen in Buchanan. You may be taking orders, fixing plates, packaging food, restocking the truck, prepping ingredients, washing dishes, or helping us set up for an event. This is an all-around position with a lot of food prep and cleaning involved. We are a growing small business, so we need someone willing to jump in wherever help is needed. If you only want to do one specific job, this probably won't be the right fit. If you enjoy staying busy, working with people, and helping build something from the ground up, we'd like to talk to you. Responsibilities Work inside our food truck during regular service and special events Greet customers and take orders accurately Operate the Square register and handle cash and card payments Fix plates, assemble orders, and package food Make sure customers receive the correct food and drinks Help prepare food before, during, and after service Keep the food truck stocked with food, drinks, containers, utensils, and supplies Wash dishes, utensils, pans, and food-preparation equipment Clean and sanitize the food truck, commissary kitchen, counters, sinks, and equipment Help load, unload, set up, and break down the food truck for events Follow all food-safety and sanitation requirements Help wherever needed to keep service moving What We're Looking For Dependable and on time Friendly and comfortable dealing with customers Willing to work hard and stay productive Able to follow directions and pay attention to details Able to work quickly without getting careless Comfortable working in a busy food truck with limited space Able to work in heat and stand for extended periods Willing to clean without having to be repeatedly asked Able to safely lift food pans, supplies, coolers, and equipment Available for some evenings, weekends, and special events Food-truck, restaurant, or customer-service experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a good attitude, takes pride in their work, and is willing to learn. Hours will vary depending on our weekly food-truck schedule, preorders, and events. This is a part-time position with the possibility of additional hours as the business grows. Chubby Chad's BBQ is a local, family-owned food truck and catering business. We work hard, treat people right, and take pride in serving good food. We're looking for someone who will bring that same attitude to the team.

Pay:

$12.00 - $16.00 per hour
