Duties Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety standards to ensure quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions. Provide friendly and efficient customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling products to enhance guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations. Assist with food delivery from kitchen to customers or tables, including bussing tables and managing food presentation. Support inventory management by restocking supplies, reporting shortages, and helping with stock rotation. Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment use to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Engage in basic math tasks such as cash counting, change giving, and sales calculations accurately during cashiering duties. Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by communicating effectively with coworkers and supporting overall restaurant operations. Experience Prior experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is most important! Familiarity with food preparation techniques or culinary experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory. Experience with POS systems like Aloha or Micros will help you get up to speed faster; training will also be provided. Strong customer service skills with an outgoing attitude are essential for creating a welcoming environment. Basic math skills including cash handling, retail math, and quick calculations are important for cashiering tasks. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is advantageous.
