Matchbox is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Food Service Associate to support daily restaurant operations and provide a positive dining experience for guests. This role involves assisting with food and beverage service, supporting order preparation and delivery, maintaining clean service areas, and working closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service. Assist with taking orders and answering basic questions about menu items. Support food and beverage service according to restaurant procedures. Help prepare, assemble, and organize orders as assigned. Deliver completed orders to the appropriate pickup area or table when needed. Communicate order details and special requests clearly to kitchen and service staff. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dining and service areas. Restock napkins, utensils, containers, condiments, and other service supplies. Assist with clearing and resetting tables as needed. Follow food-handling, food-safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures. Support opening, closing, and routine daily restaurant duties. Help maintain smooth order flow during busy service periods. Work cooperatively with kitchen staff, servers, cashiers, and supervisors. Qualifications Previous restaurant, café, food-service, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required. Friendly, respectful, and professional approach to guests. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Good attention to cleanliness, order accuracy, and service details. Able to follow written and verbal instructions. Willingness to learn menu items and restaurant procedures.
