Front of House Team Member - Paris Baguette Silver Spring Paris Baguette Silver Spring is looking for dependable team members who enjoy welcoming guests and working in a busy bakery-café. We are hiring both full-time and part-time team members who are dependable, friendly, and eager to grow with our team. Responsibilities Welcome guests, answer menu questions, and provide friendly, attentive service. Take orders accurately and operate the POS system, including cash and card payments. Package breads, pastries, cakes, and other menu items carefully. Prepare and serve beverages according to café standards. Keep product displays stocked, organized, and presentable. Maintain clean counters, dining areas, and workstations, and follow food safety procedures. Work closely with kitchen and bakery team members to keep service running smoothly. Qualifications Previous experience in a bakery, café, or restaurant is strongly preferred. Candidates without experience may also be considered if they are dependable, friendly, and eager to learn. Training will be provided. Customer service, cashier/POS, and food-handling experience are strongly preferred. Reliable attendance, punctuality, attention to detail, and clear communication. Ability to stay organized and serve guests accurately during busy periods. Willingness to learn our products, service standards, and operating procedures. Pay and Schedule Starting at $16.50 per hour. Full-time and part-time positions; approximately 20-40 hours per week, depending on the position and agreed schedule.
